Flower Basket Shawl
Flower Basket Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark. 2.5 skeins of Blue Sky Alpaca Silk, color 127 blue.
What a rewarding first shawl, very pretty, very simple. I knit it in about a week, so someone without 4 kids could make in about 2 hours :-)
Before I even started Erin told me about Get it Knitted's Flower Basket Shawl Cast On Tutorial, so it was smooth sailing from the very beginning.
I have it draped over my bedroom mirror right now, so I see it every time I walk in the room. It's nice to think I made that. Must knit more lace.

Mmm, very pretty! I really like the qualities the pattern takes on because of your color choice.

Wow - it's beautiful. I do the same with my finished lace projects... drape them around where I can see them. I'm always a little too impressed with myself when I finish a lace project ;o)

It's beautiful! The colour is gorgeous. This pattern's got to be my all-time fave for triangle shawls. I lost mine when we went to Beijing last year so I'm on the lookout for yarn to re-knit this and isn't it amazing how little yarn it requires?

That is such a lovely, neutral/versatile shade of blue! I like the size of this shawl, too; it's much more wearable than something larger. Beautiful!
