I had actually planned to get the Pistachio, but this jumped into my cart instead. Sometimes, you choose the yarn, sometimes it chooses you.
And a buttony bonus, the last time I picked up thread I found these. I'm not really sure where I will use them, but something will come along soon enough.
I love those Beatrix Potter buttons. They will be adorable on anything!

Lovely buttons and lovely yarn. Sometimes I think we are fortunate that we live right now. So much to choose from. I just went to one of my LYS today. They have a Christmas Open House and wonderful deals, with some door prizes (hopefully I'll win one of them!).

I think you are very smart to buy cute buttons when you see them. I usually wait until my sweater is completely finished and then go looking. Generally I don't find exactly what I want and end up settling. I think I will adopt your method in the future. (I LOVE those Beatrix Potter buttons!)

I really loved those books as a child, and I recall particularly loving that photo of Peter eating his carrot!
