These took soooo long! Ravelry is really making me aware of the amount of time some projects take, I'm a huge procrastikitter.
Short row heels and self striping yarn, so satisfying.
I've complained a lot about these socks, but I am really, really glad that I finished them. I've already mentioned how I ripped back 4 freaking times trying to get the fit right, so you'd think these would fit exceptionally well.
Nope, not really. The foot's too long. Gah!
I am happy with the heels, I did a couple of increases right before I started them and love the difference it made. It's like my heel has a little nest inside my sock.
The yarn is Online Supersocke Cotton Beach, and I cut out all the little jacquard bits (that's what they're called, right?) and just kept the pretty stripes.
In other news, look what was delivered yesterday. I've been so inspired by Stacey's yummy produce pictures that I hooked up with an organics delivery company. This is our second delivery, and I need to up the size we get, the fruits and veggies are so much tastier than what I can buy in the store, that I have no trouble getting my kids to eat them all up.
