This is the sock that never ends
it just goes on and on my friends. I started knitting this, not knowing what it was and I'll continue knitting it forever just because...
Sigh...I hate these socks.
These simple socks are going into their third month of knitting. I started them because I needed something simple, round and round knitting for when I don't have time to concentrate. I ripped the first sock back 3 times. And each time was after a substantial amount of knitting had happened. I even finished the sock once and then ripped it back to the heel.
I should have tried them on as I went and not gone on in knitterly denial about them, but still, these are taking me forever. Two days ago, I put every other knitting project away and determined to knit the last 3 inches of the second sock. Well, I still have an inch to go.
These socks sicken me.
Here look at my cute kid instead. He doesn't think much of the socks either, keeps trying to rip them apart. Maybe he's onto something.

Ugh. I've been there. Recently too. Are they toe ups? Bind off now and call them short socks. At least they'll be done. I had to do that a few weeks ago on a wretched pair for my husband. Good luck!

Well, the yarn looks pretty!
Adorable kid, too.

Maybe he knows something you don't!
I don't know what it is about ribbed socks. Simple knit, right? Should go quickly, right? Yeah, right! But I've had a couple of ribbed socks take forever, so they can't fool me any more!

Eh, screw the socks! Make something else instead! :-)

It's a pity about the socks. I like the yarn you are using. The Simon picture is so cute, what a happy child! :o)

good distraction with the kid picture!! :) if you really hate them, you should just frog them- no need to torture yourself....we should knit what we love!
