Friday Harbor Socks
Well, I've just made it! I think I will be starting my March socks right away and hopefully not having last minute panic knitting.
These are the Friday Harbor Socks from Knitting on the Road by Nancy Bush. I used Mountain Colors Weaver's Wool Quarters, color Rosehip.
The pattern is pretty enough, I had to go up two needle sized to get the socks to fit around my calves, then I went back down in needle size for the foot of the socks. They fit fairly well, but I still need to block them.
I am in love with the yarn, it's just wonderfully good stuff, I am going to being buying some more as soon as this yarn diet is through. I think I should always keep a little in my stash from now on, it's the most wonderful stuff.

Those socks are beautiful! I love Mountain Colors, but have never tried them for socks.

Really nice finished socks! I've never seen this yarn in person, but I've heard good things about it. :0) Hooray for meeting your goal!

They're beautiful! You know what's creepy? I picked up a red-ish Mountail Colors colorway, and I was going to make these very socks out of it!

Terrific socks! This is one of those patterns I keep meaning to get to. The yarn looks just beautiful too, very nice subtle changes.
