Aww.How cute is he in his messiness? Hee!

Go Kaelen on the patchwork blanket! It's going to be very cute in all those colors. =)

stacey

oh my gosh! love the pudding pictures!!!!!!

whiby is beautiful - Louet is one of my all time faves!

Allison

Oh, adorable! Lilah loooooves to feed herself, but mostly solid things like beans and pasta. Thank goodness. But I spend about 15 minutes after every meal picking bits of food out of her high chair and off the floor. (And we have an Eddie Bauer high chair, too. Did you take off the cushion due to extreme messiness?)

I love seeing Kaelen's knitting! So much fun. She's getting very good. I love your sock. Hey, is that a BumGenius diaper I spot in the bottom photo or something you made yourself?

Charity

It's so great that Kaelen is enjoying knitting - Katie isn't really interested, but Brian is dying to learn. Surely, with 4 kids, one of them will be a knitter, right?

I'm planning that same Drops sweater! It's such a nice pattern. :0)

Pam

Wow, thanks for the reminder of what I am in store for come July.

Those are two beautiful babies, btw.

Christie

Um...the chocolate brings out the baby's eyes... ;)

hpny knits

priceless!
:-)

Wow, that is one messy boy! Perhaps he has a painting career in his future?

Go Kaelen! That's quite a lot of projects on the needles, can't wait to see the finished works! Oh yeah, and Mom's Whitby is pretty nice too I guess. ;)

Daisy

How cute, those pudding pictures are priceless. They bring back memories, my daughter is now in her 3rd year of college and it seems like it was just yesterday that I was spending 15 minutes cleaning after every meal. Enjoy it all. Thanks for sharing.

Bea

Oh my, I have several pictures of Robby looking the same way, I too have a young one who "insists" on self feeding, from the very first time at 6 months he grabbed that spoon! I've managed to just live and let live, and after a meal, I carry him to the sink and hose him down!

I'm intrigued, homemade chocolate pudding, that sounds delicious! You must be so proud of Kaelan, that is so great she's knitting so much! Her squares look great, and I love the colors she chose. I love your Whitby sock, those cables look beautiful, I too love Louet Sport, it's such a great yarn!

amanda

Those pictures are adorable...poor Simon. I guess that's what you get for loving chocolate pudding!! :)

Look at those beautiful, blue eyes! Kids in high chairs are funny. My father used to suggest taking them out in the backyard and turning the hose on them, LOL!

Karma

I could've taken that picture (and the ensuing scrub-down) tonight if you'd substitute the chocolate pudding with "noonoes" (spaghetti and SAUCE! woohooo!). Thank goodness for nekkid babies, eh? :)

Fiber Chic

Very cute baby pictures! The blue sock look like its' coming along!
Go Kaleen!

Heather

Always love yours (and Kaelen's) knitting updates. Love seeing the photos of the little ones too. The last photo is awesome. I love the lightening in it. Definitely one for the albums :)

Thanks for visiting my blog!

OOOhhh. I might have a mothering tip you haven't tried. My daughter insisted on feeding herself too. Our mess solution? We poured a thin coating of water onto her high chair tray and a few crushed ice cubes. She would slap about and play and after 10-15 minutes was passably clean. Sometimes a clean wet washcloth worked too. (It sounds gross now but she loved sucking on that cloth.) All that was left to do was between the fingers, behind the ears, in the elbows--and dry her off. Try it!

Ha ha! What a mucky pup! A boy after my own heart!
