This new province is really starting to feel like home. I'm kind of surprised how easy the transition has been, but the whole family is settling in amazingly well.
So far, New Brunswick has been a very friendly place, people are so open and generous, and very, family friendly which has been wonderful.
Pictures are of two Baby Surprise Jackets I knit up while visiting my family before the big move. Cute babies to knit for and lots of extra time on my hands meant more BSJ's were in order.
The first one was knit in Ella Rae Palermo, color #5. A nice squishy, soft fabric and the colors were lovely, plus I love the red buttons they pop just right.
The second is knit with doubled Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn. I make this one up for the new baby living at Charity's house. I love how the yarn looks, but I really should have used something softer, it ended up much to sturdy for a little one's sweater. Please forgive me baby :-( <
And this little guy was hanging out on our window this morning. Hello.
PS For those waiting with baited breath, Jarvis now has his very own blog. Linky!
