Sounds like a wonderful time! I think you'll really enjoy spinning, it's an incredible experience, in a very different way than knitting is. :0) If you haven't found it already, there's a Ravelry group dedicated to natural dyeing, I can't recall the name off the top of my head, but I am a member of it, so it will be on my profile page if you can't find it. Very interesting information! For spinning stuff, check out Black Bunny Fibres, and here in PG, there's Mud River Angoras (in case anyone here wants to send you a present!).

okay so by fixes what do myou want? to see what others have spun? I am not a spinner so I can't just say.... come on over. There is however Twist of Fate and a blogger that I know called Black mustard who shows off her handspun on blogger. Find her at blackmustard.blogspot...... etc. And twistoffateyarns.com
What a fantastic guy! Happy Anniversary!

What a guy! Great presents!

For a spinning fix I go to etsy. But really, you gotta hit the fiber festivals to get your fix. There's nothing like seeing it person.

those buttons are great - very unique! Natural dying looks very interesting.....

What an awesome hubby! How sweet :)

If I ever follow through on my threat to take up dyeing, I'll have to get that book! The natural dyes are really interesting.

Oh my, that's loot alright!!! And those buttons!!! They are perfect!

Spinning intimidates me, but I imagine some day I'll add it to my list of passions (sounds better than obsessions) ;-)

Sounds like your man spoils you like my man spoils me. :-)

A wonderful trip, and happy anniversary!! I can't wait to see you experimenting along with spinning and dyeing. Natural dyes sound so wonderful.

I got into spinning fibers in a big way this year (not that I've gotten to do much spinning), but some of my favs are yarnwench.com, flawfulfibers.com, and Loopy Ewe and Sweet Sheep have all sorts of other great dyers.

Neat buttons! What a great guy, the fact that he listens to you while you talk about it is awesome. Mine gets a glazed look when I mention anything knitting related. Pretty handspun so far. :)

Well, wandered over here from another blog. The Spinner Central forum on Ravelry has spinning pr0n like you would NOT believe. It's enough to send you into palpitations.

Happy anniversary and happy spinning.
