OMG (Note that the g stands for gosh, I'm not taking the Lord's name in vain.) it is SO cold here I think my toes are frozen! Of course it doesn't help that I'm wearing shorts in the middle of a really cold September. But even if my jeans were out of the wash and I was wearing them like a sensible human being I would still be cold because that's the type of weather it is.
Ok, now that I got past the whiny/complaning part of my post I got some real stuff to post which I'm gonna' put in notes to keep myself organized. I'm gonna' start with the most important stuff so here I go.
1- It looks like Grandma's going to be Ok, praise God! For those of you who aren't related to me, my Great Grandma had surgery for cancer just a few days ago and every thing looks like it's going to be alright. She's the greatest Great Grandma I could possibly ask for. Actually, she's my only Great Grandma, but still ya' know what I mean.
2- New Brunswick is great. we've got great neighbors and are finally going to get a white Christmas which is something I haven't had in a while, so I'm looking forward to i
3-Yes I know I haven't posted in a while, and I have no excuse which is really quite shameful of me. But hey, that's why I'm posting such a nice long post now right!
4- I'm sorry if I haven't replied to your comments, but since I have to use my mom's blog email it's kinda' difficult so please give me some grace, and I will try again next time.
5-I am meeting so many nice girls 2 of which homeschool with sunlight just like me! Another girl I've met has almost the exact same name as me (it's just missing 1 e.) has her birthday 3 days after mine and is almost the same age as me!
6- My mom has finally relented after 2 years or so and said I can get a Webkinz if I only spend half an hour a week on it!
7- I am going to go see what mom is doing, bye.
It is actually made out of two balls of Quweryon (Is that how you spell it? Does anyone even know what I'm talking about?) which is how I managed the striping effect, plus it is self striping yarn. I ripped (And no I don't mean that the yarn has muscles.) the yarn from a scarf Mom made me which which was getting kinda matted.
Well the title really says it all. I have been churning out mittens. I have finished a pair for Jarvis, complete with knitted i-cord, and have finished one mitten for Fiona (I just have to give it a thumb, and weave in some ends.).
I also have to knit a pair of mittens and a hat for Simon and make a hat for Fiona, plus make a scarf for Jarvis.
I'm getting kinda tired of knitting for kids who don't even say thank you most of the time, but Mom says it's part of my school.
Speaking of school Mom had ordered some more books for me, so I'll be beginning school again next,NEXT,week.
Oh, almost forgot to give the reason why there are no pictures, the computer isn't working so great ( as usual!) and it is taking forever to upload pictures. Also, I'm no big picture girl.
Me and Dad watched Indiana Jones #4. It wasn't half as good as all the other Jones movies, but compared to some of the stuff that hollywood is putting out it was OK.
Anyway I gotta go.
Well dear readers heareth my stirring tale of courage, daring, and power. Lend me your ears. Prince George was a wonderful place to spin a tale of friends, good food, and family. The airplane rides (we went thrice into the great bellys of those flying machines.) are but a tale that is told. We filled our minds with screen images that were projected into our minds. We had to waiteth while the airplanes were notoriously late and finally landed most safely into the waiting arms of Munkton were we soon found to our great surprise that the most wonderful restraunt, Tim Hortons, long famed for its legendary timbits, didn't take credit. Then we all piled into our faithful van and drove off into the sunset(sort of it was midnight when we got there.) for two long, dreary, miserable, dark hours till we reached home.
We have been living safely for the last month in this beautiful land of Irving and the reversing falls, pulpmill and the magnetic hill. We hath joined a church after great searching, and found several homeschoolers in said church.
The young children hath had colds (they still "hath" them in facteth.) and my long loved parents marriage hath reached its ninth year of age.(And many mooorrrreee.)(and I loveth the parents, not there marriage though that is well too.) And now my fingers hah been rubbed to the bone on this here keyboard, and so I bid adiu.
Well peeps guess what? I'm in N.B.! The house were living in is not exactly a millionaire mansion but, it's kinda cool. Right across the street is a park that we (me and the Sib's) are allowed to play in though really it's me babysitting and the Sib's playing. Right beside that is a really nice looking piece of water called the St. John river which flows straight into the bay of Fundy. We've ("We've" meaning me,Mom,Dad,Sib's,and a certain wonderful Grandma of mine who came along to help us get settled and is unfortunately leaving tomorrow. :^( Boohoo...)been doing tons of sightseeing and it's actually been way more interesting then I thought it would be at first. I would like to know thought if there is anything kinda like Barkerville around here?
Anyways gotta go, love ya' lots all that sorta thing,
