This
is one of the items sewn for Kaelen over the summer. It was actually
supposed to have sleeves, but the armholes ended up being quite tight
so I made it a tank instead.
By the way isn't this girl pretty! I think she should be modeling all of my stuff, she makes it look so good. This wasn't K's favorite item, she felt the cotton was too heavy. She may have been right, but she did get compliments every single time she wore it.
Lately, I've been having a ton more fun sewing than knitting. I can't seem to finish anything knitwise. Sigh, might have to change this blog's name to sewypants if I don't get my butt in gear.
Beautiful top! And, you're right, Kaelen is an amazing model. :0)

Sewypants, that's funny!!! No wonder she got lots of compliments on it, it's really very pretty, and so is she!

Maybe it's that I haven't finished my coffee yet, but "sewypants" cracked me up.
Kaelen is lovely! The top is so cute. When Lilah is older, I must start sewing. Though we don't have a place for a sewing machine, really...I'd have to really cull my book collection to make room.

What a beautiful daughter. She would make a dustrag look like a fashion item. Not only is she beautiful, she is intelligent, witty, kind and a great writer. Pray hard for her future husband and that she doesn't settle for anything less than God's best for her. Meanwhile lock her in the basement, or maybe make her wear a bag over her head... Arlis

I'm trying to picture it with sleeves and I can't. It's a great tank! And it looks fabulous on her. And check out that model pose. Fierce!

She's a beauty!
I'm spending more time in front of the sewing machine lately too- I'm just having a hard time knitting anything lately.

I love the top! The fabric is beautiful and the detail on the blouse around the neckline really adds interest to it. No wonder she gets compliments, she is beautiful.
